Frequently asked questions
Is Etkiniko free?
Yes, downloading and using the app is free.
Do I need an account?
Not to browse. To save events, mark "Going", follow venues or join a guest list, sign in with Apple, Google or email.
Do you sell tickets?
No, we list events. For ticketed events, "Get Tickets" takes you to the ticket page. Events with no tickets or with entry at the door are listed too.
Which cities?
Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara, Muğla and Cappadocia.
How do notifications work?
If you allow it, you get notifications on your phone; they all stay under Account › Notifications too. If an event you tapped "Going" on is cancelled or rescheduled, you also get an email. You choose which notifications come through where in Settings.
What happens to my details when I join a guest list?
Only that event's venue sees your name and number; door staff see only the last 4 digits. Everything is deleted 30 days after the event.
An event or venue I know is missing.
Tell us via Account › Suggest Event / Venue and we'll add it.
